Online Entry

This Online Entry Portal can be used to register for the Times-News Open (TNO) or the Times-News Doubles (TND) or both. Additionally, since both these events are sanctioned by the USBC you are required to be sanctioned to participate. If you are not sanctioned through the NWPA USBC you will be required to do so. There are options below to pay the selected sanction (you will be required to complete a card onsite).

Please note that your paid entry only provides you with a spot on the selected squad if that squad is indeed open at the time of your entry. This is because other entries may have been submitted on this online portal before yours. If you sign up for a closed squad you will be placed on an open squad, if available, as well as being placed on the waiting list of the selected squad. If all squads are full, you will be placed on the waiting list of your selected squad.

Please make sure to complete all items. You will be provided with a summary of your choices prior to being directed to PayPal to remit the appropriate payment.

Please note: If you do not make a payment with your entry you must make other arrangements to secure your entry as noted at the bottom of the entry form. If you choose to pay the day of the tournament, if the event fills you risk the possibility that your spot may be given to another bowler who has paid. It is always best to make a payment prior to the day of the event to avoid this possibility. If you do choose to pay the day of the event, please arrive at the lanes at least 90 minutes prior to the squad’s scheduled starting time to ensure your spot is not given to someone else.

Please note that squads will fill up so you may not get into the squad of your choice or the tournament may be completely full. However, please select your preference. If you do not get into that squad or the event, you will be put on the waiting list and notified. Make sure to include your email address and phone number so that you can be contacted.

Additionally, it is possible that the CDC regulations could dictate that participants on a squad could be limited. If this occurs, participants will be contacted to determine their squad and those new squads will be filled based on the chronological order of their entry.

Payment Preference *

(1) The only way to ensure your entry and your position on the selected squad is to pay the full fee in conjunction with this registration.
(2) If you choose to pay at a later date, your spot will be held until one week prior to the event. If you do not actually satisfy that payment, you will be in category (3).
(3) If you choose to pay the day of the event you will need to do two things. First, by one week prior to the event, confirm with the Tournament Director by phone or email that you intend to participate in the event. Second, you must arrive, with payment, at least one hour before your scheduled squad. If you don’t, your spot may be given to another bowler.
